In their latest House Price
Index, the Institute for Housing Studies (IHS) found that prices for single
family homes in suburban Cook County showed stronger price growth than those in
the city of Chicago during the second quarter of 2014. Countywide, single
family home prices in high foreclosure areas were still 53.8% below peak
