Preservation Compact Publishes 2012 Report

Preserving Chicagoland's Future 2012The Preservation Compact’s 2012 report lays out why we need to preserve affordable rental housing. Supported by data as well as case studies, the report describes the growing demand for rental housing, provides a snapshot of Cook County’s renters and rental stock, and illustrates that preservation is the most efficient – and affordable – way to keep our rental stock viable and our neighborhoods strong.

We hope that this report helps to create a durable policy framework that supports affordable rental preservation.
