Emergency Rental Assistance: Still available, different process

Tenants can now apply to the Illinois Department of Human Services for a new emergency rental assistance program. This is a different program, but still helps! Tenants can work with an IDHS provider serving their community to complete an application. If owners complete their portion of the application, owners receive payments; otherwise tenants receive payments.
