New COVID-19 Relief Proposal

President-elected Biden recently released his $1.9 trillion legislative proposal for a comprehensive COVID-19 relief package that includes:

• $30 billion in emergency rental and utility assistance,
• $25 billion in rental assistance
• $5 billion to cover home energy and water costs
• $5 billion to address the health and housing needs of people experiencing homelessness,
• Extension of the federal eviction moratorium through September 2021,
• $1,400 stimulus checks, and
• $400 per week unemployment insurance supplement through September 2021.
