Utility Assistance Funding Available

With over $100 million in funding still available through the Help for Illinois Families program, the State of Illinois and Citizens Utility Board (CUB) are urging eligible residents who are struggling with the cost of utility bills to apply before the moratorium on utility shut-offs is set to end on March 31. In addition to utility billing relief, the Help for Illinois Families program includes other assistance, such as temporary shelter and other necessities.
