Affordable Housing Preserved in Strong Market

Congratulations to Preservation Compact partners Chicago Community Loan Fund, City of Chicago, and Enterprise Community Partners on their roles to finance and preserve the Mark Twain SRO, a 152-unit property on the near north side.  When the SRO ordinance first went into effect, The Preservation Compact reached out to NHP Foundation to let them know about SRO preservation opportunities, and helped them connect to City of Chicago staff. It is wonderful to see our partners and NHP Foundation working together to preserve affordable rental in a strong market!
