ADUs for Multifamily

Webinar Overview: ADUs For Multifamily

On February 16, 2022, The Preservation Compact, Community Investment Corporation, and the City of Chicago Department of Housing hosted a webinar on the City of Chicago’s Additional Dwelling Unit (ADU) ordinance. This ordinance can help property owners add additional units to their buildings and makes it easier to legalize existing non-conforming units.

At this webinar, we discussed:

  • the City’s new Additional Dwelling Unit (ADU) ordinance
  • the ADU application process, and
  • options for financing an ADU project.
