Catch up with The Compact: January 2022 Highlights
In January 2022 The Preservation Compact:
- Partnered with the Illinois Housing Council to discuss a proposal for a new NOAH acquisition program based on the Boston Acquisition Opportunity Program,
- Collaborated with the Assessor’s Office on the rollout of the new property tax incentive in Cook County
- Discussed accessory dwelling units (ADUs) on an expert panel hosted by Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning and the Metropolitan Mayors Caucus, and
- Continued convening our government partners and other stakeholders on Emergency Rental Assistance coordination.
